Jessica Marie Alba (American actress and businesswoman) is Jessica Marie Alba. At 13 years old she started acting in television and movies. She was first seen in Camp Nowhere (1994) and The Secret World of Alex Mack (1994). However, her rise to fame at 19 when she was the lead actress of Dark Angel (2000-2002), which was nominated for a Golden Globe. Her big screen breakthrough came in Honey (2003). She soon became a Hollywood actor and has starred many hits in box office films which include Fantastic Four (2005). Fantastic Four Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Good Luck Chuck (2007). Alba was co-founder of The Honest Company in 2011, a company that sells household, personal, and baby products. Magazines like Men's Health and Vanity Fair have also put her in their lists. Jessica Marie Alba was born to Mark David Alba and Catherine Louisa Jensen in Pomona, California on April 28th 1981. Her mother has Danish, Welsh, German and English ancestry. Her maternal grandparents were both immigrants from California. Joshua is her older sibling. Gustavo Arellano, who is also her third cousin, was once again her father's Air Force pilot. Her father was an Air Force pilot who took her family to Biloxi and Del Rio in Texas. She returned home to Claremont, California when she was nine years. Alba said that her family was "very conservative" as an old-fashioned Catholic, Latin American, Catholic family. Alba also describes herself as liberal. At age five, she said she was a feminist.
